ACH Now! is a merchant
(originator) data entry point Electronic Payment Presentment
application that electronically submits payments through the ACH
network as shown in the diagram below. Merchants obtain (in
person, by telephone, fax or via the internet) the customer's
(receiver) 9 digit bank routing number (ABA) and checking account
number, then imports a data file, scans a check, or manually
enters the payment information into the Internet browser
application. ACH Now! communicates electronically through an
Originating Depository Financial Institution (ODFI), the ACH
Network, and the Federal Reserve Banking System, automatically
debiting the customer's bank account (RDFI) and crediting the
merchant's account.

ACH Now! makes possible the
electronic payment between most business and their customers.
Merchant obtains the customer's checking account information, then
